Basecamp Hotels
Strobel Development founded Basecamp Hotels in 2010 and has played the lead role in bringing the successful brand to life in three locations and counting.
Basecamp Hotels was the first brand that focused on “bringing the spirit of adventure back to hotels”. Basecamp Hotels have been recognized throughout the industry as have spurred a movement (and many imitations) in the outdoor-focused lodging category.
Christian Strobel teamed up with Neils Cotter and Elaine Cotter to create the Basecamp Hotels concept and develop the brand with Bucktrout Creative. The collaboration also included custom artwork by Wendy MacNaughton.
Strobel Development performs a variety of roles including development, creative direction, operations, and asset management for this unique pioneering concept.
